…Slope Point , southern most tip of the South Island, it’s bloody windy there…
…all the time, judging by the trees….
…Waipapa Point is further back down the coast towards Inver’s & is no less exposed…
…with the added attraction of adjacent pinnipeds….
…they’re stacked like cord wood on the beach….…and this one, upwind from the “pile” & myself, definitely smelt the worst…
…mmm…pinnipeds.
…(…
…)….
Beautiful!!!
Love your photos!
…thank you…
Very nice ! We have lighthouses on our shores and seals, but I’ve never seen a real life pinniped myself…;o)
…I’ll put one in the post…
Wow ! I hope it fits in my letterbox…
…I’m sure it will…as long as it hasn’t broken your mail-person before they get to your house….
That is a serious risk. Most post is delivered by bicycle over here…
…please wait at your front door with a camera…this I have to see….just checked and the adult male sealions weigh in between 320-450kgs!!!….
I will ! This is going to be spectacular…!
love the windy trees.
…cheers Frag’…thy are much photographed…could of got a better shot if I’d climbed the fence and gone for a wander…but, Southland farmers…. : )
you mean they shoot trespassers? 🙂
…an “love” sheep….
ah, just like our Welsh brethren 🙂
