…I went back and checked….

…having some “fun” getting my head back in the game…

…figured if I stopped drawing patterns and went back into the notebook and trawled for storylines it would all come flooding back…

…dredged from my previous sketchbook (circa Oct’ 2019) and reflecting the nature of some behaviours observed during my time in a low wage retail environment (not the record shop…that was a no wage environment!)…

…(and because I was never a boy-scout but needed those badges)…

Peggy’s Square

….even tho the entries in paintbook were only meant to be background colour guides for a larger, more complicated thing, these met with ooos and aahs in “some quarters” so I thought it wise to do them “properly” as a finished piece….

….wasn’t till after I’d finished that I realised they look like ol’ peggy square throw rugs crochet by “your nan”…..

…(possibly explains their “popularity”)….
