I did! Mum took me on the train to see it at Leeds picture house. Loved it, and especially the great pink sea snail.
…hmmm…must dig out a copy for a re-watch….all very vague memories at this end….
They did a remake with Robert Downey junior as Doolittle, but I don’t think that would have the same impact somehow. That magic was of it’s time.
