Stalling With Archival Stuff

…2 from 1986…I don’t remember ever being before the beak…but vaguely remember GST being added to fines as a fairly hot topic in my social circle…

….I  like custard…but have avoided custardy.

Just When Things Were Getting Interesting

…I ran out of fresh strips/had a continuity-going-forward crisis and had to resort to archival gems….

…the (alleged) story line that I’m working on is moving faster than I can draw…and I’m pretty sure I can only do 5 pages a week if I’m single…don’t take breaks for meals ….& stop sleeping altogether….

…so here’s some filler….(you’ll have to make your own muzak)….

 

…interesting to note that I had an anti-thing for little dogs since 1986….

…(and yes, I did have a mohawk).

…I’ve been in the archive again…

…this one from 1986…..a  “signing-off” contribution to the Critic, Otago Uuniversity student assoc’ rag….

…the venue for nearly all of my early work…

…the paper is yellowing nicely…

…in contrast to the correction fluid…which is still as white as the day this ‘toonist applied it…

…what did they make that crap out of anyway?
