…apart from a kids book, this remains my only piece published overseas….

…er…unless you count nearly four years of world wide web stuff.

Aramoana Sunset

…the sun going down behind Mt. Cargill…

…and Dee standing in it…

…listening to the young mullet (we think) jumping to catch bugs….

….like standing in the rain without getting wet…

…then a royal spoon bill flew low in line with the other side of the inlet all lit golden like a painting on silk….

…shit.

…this is possibly the most criminally desperate pun I’ve ever committed…

…and for the life of me I can’t recall Vertigo Graphics ever publishing any of my work, let alone allowing me to do a cover….
