…it’s the lamp by which I work when visiting my good friend Dee’s new, but badly lit, front room…

…mmmm, badly lit…..

OCD Window Washing

…I stare out my windows all day long…

….watching the dirt accumulate on the glass…

…but never have to wash the windows myself (or pay to have it done)…

…because if I wait for long enough the OCD window washer turns up and does it because he can’t bare to see a grimy window….

 

…the other guy (yep, two window washers, count ’em) does it in exchange for snippets of musical info…

….his memory is worse than mine….

 

 

…but OCD guy is definitely the champ…

 

…he can spot a bird poop from across the street…

 

…(there, now I can see the trees again).

Kiwi Ingenuity

…as seen outside the shop…

….vehicle mounted clothes drying rack….

…demonstration model, comes with outsize, white, showroom y-fronts attached….

 

…and on that note I may be away from here for a week…

…holed up in a seedy motel room with the other members of the jury…

…on the lam from friends of the bad guys…

…the ones whose friend we’re about to  send down….

The Next Best Thing To Happy Feet

…well, better than happy feet…

…because he’s real …

…and he’s just outside my good friend Dee’s place…

…and you can drink coffee and make a snack whilst observing him…

Yellow eyed penguins are rare & protected in NZ…this little fella has been caught & relocated from this beach twice now…lots of dog walking in the area….wish Dee’s windows hadn’t been so sand splattered…didn’t think it wise to snap him from outside as there wasn’t anything for me to hide behind!….cool neighbour for a day though.
